I was recently invited to Hume Central Secondary College Art and Technology Student Exhibition and end of year celebration, to make a selection for the Artist's Choice Award. Choosing one piece, from hundreds of worthy entries was an onerous task, and a valuable reminder of the difficulties art judges face. I chose a wonderfully unique desk and was thrilled to meet the creator. Khalid Omar plans to be a doctor. I'm sure his creativity and skill with his hands, will be valuable assets for him in the future.
