When my friend Nico Gioia told me about the new Splash McClelland Contemporary Watercolour Award, I was keen to be included. I have many fond memories of visits to the sculpture park and gallery with family and friends. So I entered Heart, my portrait of Kin Ma, and to my delight it has been selected as a finalist!
